Becoming TBLS Board Certified (SAYLA Presentation)



When I worked at the San Antonio court of appeals, I strived to better myself in various ways. One of those ways was to become board certified in both Civil Appellate Law & Criminal Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.


One year, I applied for and took the most challenging test of my life. With a lot of hard work and quite a bit of luck, I passed the civil exam. The following year, I repeated the process, and I passed the criminal exam.


Today, I'll be presenting at the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association luncheon to help other young attorneys seeking to pursue professional excellence. Download the powerpoint here:
