Last week, the Texas Bar Foundation announced that Chief Justice Marion would receive the 2020 Samuel Pessara Outstanding Jurist Award. The Samuel Pessara Outstanding Jurist Award recognizes an active federal or state judge who exhibits an outstanding reputation for competency, efficiency, and integrity. Chief Justice Marion will be recognized among other award recipients at the Texas Bar Foundation dinner at the State Bar Annual Meeting in June in Dallas.
